🚌 Proposed New Bus Schedules Are Here! 🚌

Canby Area Transit is proposing updates to the 99X and Canby Loop weekday schedules beginning September 8, 2026, and we want to hear from you!

The proposed changes include:
✅ More frequent 99X service to Oregon City
✅ More frequent local Canby Loop service
✅ Route adjustments in Woodburn due to upcoming development and bus stop relocations
✅ Service changes designed to improve connections and align with our Transit Master Plan

Take a few minutes to review the proposed schedules and let us know what you think. Your feedback will help shape the future of public transportation in our community.

UPDATE 2:55pm: The crash is cleared and the buses are back on normal route and servicing all stops.

Service Alert – 99X Route Detour

Due to a traffic accident on Highway 99E resulting in a southbound road closure, the 99X route is currently operating on a detour.

🚧 Southbound Barlow Stop Closed
The southbound Barlow stop will be closed until further notice.

⏰ Expect Delays
Passengers should anticipate possible delays while the detour remains in effect.

On Monday, May 25, 2026, all Canby Area Transit services will be closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.

Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who have served our country. We extend our gratitude to all who have served and pay special tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Good news! The Canby Loop bus stop at Wait Park has officially re-opened for service.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding during the closure—we truly appreciate it!

We’re also excited to roll out new bus stop signs, which will be installed at all of our stops over the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for the upgrades!

Due to a major accident on Highway 99E at Barlow Road, southbound lanes are currently closed. Buses are being rerouted to continue service to Aurora.

As a result, the southbound stop at Barlow Road is closed until further notice. Riders should expect delays while this reroute is in place.

🔄 Effective immediately, the stop at N. Redwood St & NE 19th Place has been permanently relocated to NE Territorial Rd & N. Redwood St.

We’re excited to share that we’re also testing a new addition to the Canby Loop!

📍 A new stop is now available at NE 10th Ave & N. Maple Lane.
