We’re looking for a few donations for a “tech take-apart” event we’ll be hosting in August. Non-working condition would be PERFECT! If you have any of the following items you were thinking of getting rid of (yes - we know it’s a weird list), we’d be interested in receiving a couple of each.

PLEASE CALL US FIRST THOUGH (607-659-7258) to verify we still need the item(s) and please do NOT leave items outside when the library is closed! Our regular hours are M/W/F - 2-5; T/T - 10-12 and 2-7; and Saturday 10-2. Thanks so much for helping us make this event possible!

If you have extra craft supplies taking up space in your house and you’d like to share them with others, we’d be happy to help them find a new home. Don’t have anything to donate, but still interested in finding some free craft supplies? Everyone is welcome to attend!

Everything will be presorted into various categories to help make shopping easier. If the weather is nice, we’ll try to have everything set up outside and under cover. All we ask is that you drop off your items ONLY when the library is open (M/W/F - 2-5; T/T - 10-12 and 2-7; Saturday - 10-2). Please DO NOT leave them outside blocking the door, on the bench, etc. Thank you for sharing!

A new round of free meditation classes will be offered at the library starting Tuesday, June 9th. A photo of the class flyer is attached below. We’ll be sharing the Facebook event listing for it in a separate post. We sincerely apologize to anyone who showed up today only to discover the class had been cancelled a few days ago due to the impending weather. We posted it here and took down the flyers we had around town, but we knew that probably wasn’t going to be good enough. 😔

Sorry folks. We realize the forecast could change, but we don’t want to wait until the last minute to make a decision on this. The program was going to be an interactive one geared to be outdoors, not something we could simply move inside. We also don’t foresee being able to reschedule it at this point, but if that changes we’ll let you know.

Looks like Jen is all set up for her first session of "Art Journaling with Mixed Media." It's free, open to teens and adults, and starts at 5:30pm today (Wednesday, May 20th). Even though the air conditioner has been off for the last 24 hours, it's still pretty cool in the meeting room downstairs so you might want to dress accordingly.
