We wrapped up our Summer Enrichment Program with Gemology Week! 🪨🔬

The kids excavated geodes, explored Beaver Creek State Park, and used Starburst candies for a sweet science experiment to learn how rocks are formed.

We had such a blast this summer and loved sharing the fun with you along the way. Thanks for following along! 💜

Last week, the kids in our Summer Enrichment Program went to GROW Camp at Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center. They had a wonderful time learning, exploring, and creating!

They picked fresh blueberries, baked bluberry muffins, hiked through nature, swam every day, made their own aprons, and toured the farm and greenhouses.

We closed out July with a beautiful celebration of Beatitude House's 35th Anniversary!

We honored residents with awards, looked back on 35 years of Beatitude House through an archives display, and enjoyed food, fellowship, and fun activities as we celebrated together with residents, staff, and friends.

We were also honored to welcome City of YOUngstown Mayor Derrick McDowell, who recognized Beatitude House for 35 years of serving individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of this mission since 1991. Here's to 35 years of changing lives, and to all that's still to come.
