🚧 STUTZ REPAIRS NOTICE 🚧

Heads up, everyone! Stutz Drive will be undergoing crossover pipe work on Saturday, October 17th, all day.

Traffic Information: No thru traffic on Stutz Drive. You can still access all buildings along the road while work is underway. You might have to enter Stutz from Tippecanoe Road or Seville Drive depending on location of the road work. Use Mercedes Place or Business Service Road as the detour if needed.

Thank you for your patience and caution as we work on crossovers pipes on Stutz Drive.

LEGAL NOTICE

CANFIELD TOWNSHIP ROOF REPAIRS

Canfield Township

Sealed bids for the above-mentioned project will be received by Canfield Township until 2:00 p.m. on October 28, 2026 at the Canfield Township Administration Building, 21 South Broad Street, Canfield, OH 44406. Bids are due by 2:00 p.m. and will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:05 PM on October 28, 2026.

Specifications and bidding forms can be obtained only from The Canfield Township Administration Building between the hours of 8:00 a.m. -3:00 p.m. M-F, for a non-refundable fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) plus postage and handling, if applicable, for each set of contract documents. Checks are to be made payable to CANFIELD TOWNSHIP TRUSTEES.

Project includes the removal of all existing roofing materials and drip edging. Each structure is broken down into materials listed on Quantity Sheet. Remove and Replace any damaged Decking and document by photos prior to the removal. All waste to be collected and removed from site. Fascia material to be repaired as directed. Particular attention to be paid when installing the ice and water guard in all valleys. Materials to be used: Weather Master Ice & Water 200; Summit 60 synthetic underlayment; Lo-Omni Roll; and Atlas Pinnacle Pristine shingles; inch and a quarter nails to be used. There will be no substitutions for these materials.

Canfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities in bidding.

No bids may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least sixty (60) days.

Engineer's Construction Cost Estimate: $ 147,343.00

The Canfield Township Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing on October 28,2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the Canfield Township Hall.

The purpose of this hearing is to hear the request of Mr. John Marino, 8025 Camden Way, for an area variance for a detached garage.

Must be in compostable leaf bags

The Public Works Department will use the same quadrant system as in years past using State Route 224 and State Route 46 to divide the quadrants. The collection dates for this year will be as follows: NW and NE quadrants: Tuesdays Oct. 13, Oct. 20, Oct. 27, Nov. 3, Nov. 10, Nov. 17, Nov. 24 and Dec. 1; SE and SW quadrants: Thursdays Oct. 15, Oct. 22, Oct. 29, Nov. 5, Nov. 12, Nov. 19 and Dec. 3. The Township will provide (5) free bags per Township family and at cost for each (5) thereafter. Bags can be acquired (with a valid Driver’s License) at the Township Hall.

This only pertains to Canfield Township residents. The areas in white on the map are a part of the City of Canfield and they have their own leaf pick up program.
