Update!! Fire Hydrant Flushing will continue on Wednesday, September 2nd at 8am. DPW will resume flushing the following streets: Russell St, Orchard St, Riddell St and greenwood Street. Please be advised that hydrant flushing may cause discoloration of water on nearby streets. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Water will be shut off on Walnut Street at 10 am this morning (8/24/26) to replace a fire hydrant. DPW will restore water as soon as possible. Thank you for understanding!

Tomorrow is the day we are offering extended hours to help people get set up with the mass notificaiton system! If you can't make it, you can always sign up on your own with the QR code or give us a call!

No Parking Notice

The Village will be implementing NO PARKING to allow for paving operations on the following streets:

West Academy, Russell, Spruce, Union, Taylor, Pine, and Spring

From: 12:00 AM, Wednesday, July 1
Until: 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 2

Additionally NO PARKING on July 6th ONLY beginning at 6AM to complete paving.

The Village will be sweeping roadways on Wednesday in preparation for paving on Thursday.

Residents are asked to:

Remove all vehicles from these streets during this time and refrain from placing lawn clippings or debris in the roadway to avoid additional cleanup.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your cooperation as we work to improve our roads. Please note that weather may impact this schedule and the Village will work to notify residents as soon as possible.

We're sure the community has noticed a lot of growth and success with the community garden! Harvest has begun and several families have received fresh produce at the local food pantry. They have recently shared that a community pick up day will now be offered on the 2nd Tuesday from 4PM-gone. If you see their table set up, stop down to get some local fresh produce and maybe find out more information about this great program!

UPDATE: Water has been restored as of 9:15.

Water service will be shut off on North Hornell Street in order to fix a repair. The DPW will work quickly to restore service.
