Takotah had her first find on a rubble pile. Person was hiding in the tall round column.
Bob & Mila and Takota & Terri are at MUTC in Indiana.
Great experience working disaster areas including tunnels, rubble, ropes, and water rescue.

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Kya. Kya gave 8 years of service to Search and Rescue, searching for the missing, training fire depts., EMTs, EMS and law enforcement.

Kya had been certified in Human Remains with North American Search Dog Network.

Kya was found running along Interstate 90 near Mitchell. Her first couple of years were hard and she was reactive towards male dogs. We were able to give her a loving home and a job. After retiring from SAR, Kya became a therapy dog for grandma.

Kya loved being on the water, either working or kayaking with friends. Animal Planet considered her for a small part in a show, working in a boat. Winter came to early for it to work out.
