We had a blast yesterday at our 3rd annual Water Wars!!
It was so amazing to see the community come together for this special opportunity to honor Darold Fox.
Huge thank you to Jesse Wiederholt for announcing, and all of the teams that made the trip here to Miesville to compete!
We would also like to thank Bauer Services and Nadeau Companies for the use of their trucks, the Miesville Mudhens for opening up their concession stands for us, Gopher Hills for taking care of the trophies, and Trophies Plus for taking care of the amazing medals for the kiddos!

This year's 1st place team was a father/ son duo from Mantorville Fire Dept, 2nd place went to a combo team from Newport/Woodbury, and 3rd place was claimed by a team from Alexandria Tech!

Looking for a great way to cool down this weekend when the temperature will be hot?! 🔥🌡
Join us at the Fire Department on Saturday at 2pm for our water fight!
While the fire fighters battle for the 1st place trophy, you can enjoy some concessions 🌭🥤🍺and maybe even a few splashes! 💦
After the main event, everyone is invited to spray the fire house and learn more about being a firefighter! 👨‍🚒

When tragedy occurs, we are reminded that service area lines and borders do not matter. It doesn’t matter what county or city we serve. We are one large community of Fire Departments, EMS services, Law Enforcement agencies and dispatchers that have the same goal day in and day out. To protect our communities and serve. We assist one another during emergency calls and when the unimaginable occurs. Over the weekend was a testament to both.

To all the public safety agencies that assisted in search and rescue efforts, the families and community members in Wabasha County, and Wabasha FD and EMS, we stand beside you. You are in our thoughts during this incredibly difficult time.
