The Pike and San Isabel National Forests are currently in Stage 1 Fire Restrictions. This means campfires are only allowed in developed recreation sites that have a metal Forest Service fire ring.

U.S. Drought Monitor September 3, 2026

For the 50 states and Puerto Rico, the U.S. Drought Monitor shows 49.51% in moderate drought or worse, compared to 47.56% last week.
