Elkins Public Library Elkins Public Library is the public library serving the Town of Canterbury, New Hampshire. To Register: There is no fee for town residents.

Proof of residency is required. Non- residency fee is $50.00/year. Borrowing: Books and books-on-CD may be borrowed for 3 weeks at a time and DVDs for 1 week. Periodicals are also available. We do not assess late fines, but contributions to our Conscience Box are always welcome! Service Charges: Copier and computer prints- .10/copy; fax machine- $1/page. oks available for in-library use. The library has a wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi) available 24/7. Elkins library has a wireless printer and patrons are welcome to bring their own devices. Book Discussion Group: The book group meets the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 pm by the fireplace. Book Discussion Group: Murder, Mystery and Mayhem meets the fourth Tuesday at 2 pm. Story time: For pre-K and younger, Tuesdays at 10 am. This program involves stories, songs and a craft. Tunes, Tales and Tumbles: For pre-K and younger, Thursdays at 10 am. This program involves singing, musical instruments, stories and stretches. Knitting Group - On Pins and Needles: Wednesdays at 2 pm. All experience levels welcome, as well as crochet, embroidery, and other hand projects. Download Audio and E-Books: visit http://nh.lib.overdrive.com for details. Contact the library to register for this service, code required. Inter-Library Loan (ILL): If we don't have, we'll try to get it! See us at the desk for details. Family Passes: Some passes allow free admission while other offer a discount. The Mary Hutchinson Meeting Room: Available for use by non-profit community groups of up to 20 people.
