Yesterday, the Canton Police Department was honored to welcome the Canton Area Preschool & Childcare Center for a special visit to the Police and Fire Departments. Officers enjoyed meeting the preschool class, giving tours, answering questions, and showing the kids around our facilities and vehicles.

We appreciate the opportunity to connect with our community’s youngest residents and hope everyone had a fun and memorable visit. Thank you for stopping by! 🚓🚒👮‍♂️👧👦

We followed all of the leads that we were given. Unfortunately we could not find the owner to return him. He was picked up and taken to the SF Humane Society. If there are any questions regarding the dog please direct them to the Humane Society.

This old man was picked up by an Officer last night. Please spread the word so we can get him back home. He is a very sweet and loving puppy.

Bring your bike for safety checks, decorate it at our parade table, and grab some pizza. 🍕 There’s even a chance to win bikes! 🚲

Electric Scooters and E-bikes are welcomed as well. Bring them and learn how to ride safely and with a helmet on.

Today, the Canton Police Department had the honor of assisting with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics. We were proud to support local Canton student Max, who is a Special Olympics athlete.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a great tradition that helps raise awareness and support for Special Olympics athletes and the incredible dedication they show every day. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make today a success!
