Founded in 1999 by Carolyn Hess, Project REBUILD continues to serve young people in Stark County more than twenty years later with the same program components of education, work readiness training, leadership development, youth development, and providing service to our community. We also offer our members hands-on construction training, safety training, post-secondary exploration, post-program app
renticeships options, substance use support, financial literacy, life skills lessons, and health and wellness programming. Our comprehensive nine-month program focuses on positively impacting all aspects of a young person's life. We understand that creating a trust relationship is one of the key steps to our success and theirs. That relationship is what will allow a young person to step out of their comfort zone, try new things, and push themselves beyond their limits. Our organization operates YouthBuild Greater Stark County, our young people may be enrolled as YouthBuild AmeriCorps members, and we provide services for young people enrolled in WIOA's CCMEP (Comprehensive Case Management Employment Program). We partner with local high schools in the area to provide the best options and pathways for young people to achieve success.
