There's no better way to start off the summer! Our annual mission trip with RippleFX is coming up in about a month and a half! If you know a student interested in coming with us, fill out the google form linked so that we can send you information about this trip. Last year, our trip was such a great experience serving the people of Aliquippa, spending time with Jesus, and laughing with each other. We hope to have you come serve with us this summer in Aliquippa!!!!!!!!!!!

This past weekend, our students helped at Habitat for Humanity East Central Ohio helping fold shirts and prepare blessing bags for those who volunteer at Habitat throughout the summer. While doing something like folding shirts might feel mundane, our students had such a blast being able to talk and laugh with each other while serving!

Last week, our amazing students took time out of their Spring Break to go serve at the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. They could have used their Wednesday morning to sleep in, catch up on assignments, or to hang out with friends. Instead they got up early and used their Wednesday morning of Spring Break to make a difference in their community. Our hearts are so full with what these students accomplish all the time :)

EPIC was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. There's no other way to put it. Our students got to grow closer to one another, grow I themselves, and most importantly: grow with God. There are too many stories to share from our time to share here, but just know that our time was filled with long nights of laughter, deep discussions about who God is and how he sets us free, and so much fun through games ran by RippleFX.

Here is a quick story that we will share which is probably the most important story we can share from the weekend. Two of our students, Haley and Kiyonna, made the decision to deepen their relationship with Jesus and get baptized at camp. During Saturday night's worship service, Haley felt God moving in her and when the opportunity arose to be baptized, she wanted to make sure everyone knew what God was doing in her life. Kiyonna also felt this call for her to take the next step and wanted to get baptized as well. This was a powerful moment for our students and our leaders that we will remember for years to come.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed, given, and supported us in any way for our time at EPIC.

This past Saturday our students spent the morning serving at the stables at Whispering Grace Horses, and it was such a great time. From caring for the horses to cleaning out stalls, our group jumped right in and served with huge smiles and plenty of laughter along the way.

There’s something really special about getting outside, trying something new (even if it’s a little out of your comfort zone), and serving together as a community. Moments like this remind us just how joyful and meaningful it can be to give our time to others.

We’ll be back at Whispering Grace a couple more times this year, so if you missed out this time, we’d love to have you join us next time we’re there!

Begin the countdown for EPIC!!! Only 11 days until our students head out to Wooster to worship, play games, and explore what God has in store for them.

This past Saturday, our students served at Habitat for Humanity painting and doing some woodwork. Habitat was gracious enough to take some photos for us and holy moly they turned out amazing. Our students worked hard helping to bring some pop and color into the work space all while having a total blast with each other!

This Saturday we will be at Whispering Grace Horse Farm helping take care of the horses and doing some cleaning up! We're super excited to be there this weekend! Stay tuned for more pictures!
