Tuesday, September 8th kicks off our first day of After School Programming. It's not too late to sign your child up: https://ccsdistrict.org/afterschoolprogramming

We are pleased to offer free After School Programming to Summit Elementary students. Programming is from Monday through Thursday immediately after school until 6:45pm. The focus is on engaging students in reading, math and fun enrichment activities.

Before School Programming is also available from 8-9:00am.
Limited spots are offered and bussing home is available. An attendance commitment is required, and programming will run from September 8th through May 14th for the 2026.27 school year.

We are offering Girls on the Run, an after school experience that helps girls discover their I Can! Power - the power to do hard things and keep going.

Girls on the Run has fun, evidence-based programs that inspire all girls to build their confidence, kindness and decision making skills. Dynamic lessons instill valuable life skills including the important connection between physical and emotional health.

Our kindergarten through 3rd grade students finished out their performances with their spring concert. There was singing, dancing, and acting. Thank you so much to Mrs. Debby Paulis, one of our choir teachers, for all her hard work with our students and preparing them for the concert. Shoutout to Mrs. Taylor Bryan, our dance teacher, for the adorable dances and scenes from Winnie the Pooh!

What a fabulous way to wrap up the end of the 2025-2026 school year! We started the day by having awards ceremonies for 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. Later in the day, our K-3rd grade students participated in a bubble parade. They made signs and were cheered on by the older grades. We ended the day with ice cream from Taggart’s donated by the American Legion.

We know our students are incredibly talented, but today showcased that! We had our talent show where there was dancing, singing, playing piano, a juggling act, and gymnastics.
