Our city prosecutor and domestic violence prosecutor spent last night supporting Domestic Violence Project, Inc. at the annual fundraiser gala. It was a really nice event.

We Believe in Canton is back for 2026! Join the Canton Police Department for a summer series of free, family-friendly events taking place across the city. Each stop is an opportunity to connect with neighbors, meet local heroes, and enjoy a fun afternoon in your community park.

We will be at Centennial Plaza, Harmont Park, Crenshaw Park, Stadium Park, and Garaux Park throughout June and July from 3-5 p.m. Bring the family and be part of the fun. We will have inflatables, water games, grilled hot dogs, and more.

We believe in Canton, and we can’t wait to see you there!

Thank you to our administrative professionals ❤️

Today, we recognize and celebrate Administrative Professionals Day.

Across every department and throughout the City of Canton, dedicated administrative professionals keep things organized, connected, and moving forward. Your attention to detail, commitment to service, and behind-the-scenes leadership play a vital role in the work we do each day.

Thank you for all you do to support our teams and serve our community.

In observance of Presidents Day, city offices will be closed on Monday, February 16. As a reminder, there will be no delay in trash pickup.

Presidents Day is a time to honor the office of the presidency and the leaders who have shaped our nation. We join the McKinley Presidential Library & Museum in recognizing the life and legacy of William McKinley, the 25th President of the United States.

Before serving in the White House, President McKinley made Canton his home. He practiced law here, built his career in public service, and launched his successful 1896 presidential campaign from our city, forever linking Canton’s story with our nation’s history.
