In honor of Pride Month, meet my le***an hens! 🌈🐔🐔

These two ladies set up nests side by side, faithfully sat for the full 21 days, and somehow ended up with exactly one chick between them. Since the baby is black I’m not entirely convinced there wasn’t a donor egg involved. 😂

Regardless, they’re now happily co-parenting their little one and doing an ❤️

Highland Cow Bath Bombs! These guys sold out super fast last time I made them so act now if you want one - plus now they include freeze dried goats milk from our goats. They color the bath water blue and are just the MOST adorable things! Oh - and they are in our new SUMMER 2026 EVENING RETREAT SEASONAL BOX! How cool is that?

We had to process a young lamb on the farm a while back. I pulled him from the freezer a few days ago and we smoked him today! For dinner I made a smoked pulled lamb burger in a red wine bbq sauce with an herb aioli and garlic and red wine fried with a bbq sauce/mayo mix to dip the fries! The buns were made from scratch, the bbq sauce and aioli were made from scratch. And obviously the lamb was home grown!
