SSgt Carpenter here.

Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all the recruiters in RSS Canton for all their hard work since I have been their SNCOIC for the past year. We have accomplished a lot over the year's time and I couldn't be more proud of them as I depart. I feel confident that they will continue to make Marines and inspire them to be something great.

Good luck to all of our Poolees and applicants currently in the pool. Go off and challenge the world. Apply everything your recruiters are teaching you because Poolees are going to recruit training from our office and are being recognized as the best Marines on the island. Pick and choose from your leaders of today so you can be a better leader of tomorrow.

Up-date...

SSgt Carpenter's last official day in RSS Canton will be on this Thursday the 5th. Sgt Sandoval will officially take over as the NCOIC on the 6th of December when he returns from leave.

The holidays are approaching quickly and instead of burning your leave dates that you have on the books, call a recruiter from RSS Canton and submit a PTAD Request for recruiter's assistance! You can be home for up to 30 days as long as your command approves. Contact a recruiter today and get your requests in! If you have already submitted your request, check on the status of it.

Stay safe Marines where ever you may be. Be smart and think to yourselves, “Would I do this in front of my SSgt? …Hell ya I would but only if it was SSgt Carpenter! I know he would get a kick out of this!”

RS CLEVELAND "ALL HANDS FEMALE POOL FUNCTION"
23 November 2013

RS Cleveland will conduct an all female pool function beginning at 1200 on 23 Nov 2013 located at The Crossfit Box 10909 Prospect Rd Strongsville, OH 44149. The uniform for poolees for the function will be PT gear with poolee DEP shirts. ALL female poolees will be traveling up there with Sgt Hastie and guest females can come too.

Congratulations to the newest Marines in the Corps as PVT MADISON, PVT MARBURGER, PVT HALTOM, PVT BROWN, and PFC ALVES graduated this past Friday and now hold the title of UNITED STATES MARINE!
