West Park Neighborhood The neighborhood of West Park is widely acknowledged and valued as one of Canton’s premier community There are 249 residential structures.

West Park is a large neighborhood in Canton, Ohio that extends from 10th Street NW all the way to 23rd Street NW. It is bounded by Fulton Road NW on the east and Monument Road NW on the west. There are small office buildings, an ice cream and sandwich shop, and a root beer stand. Some of the strengths are:

· Excellent park access, especially for the well-used walking trails

In observance of Memorial Day, there will be no trash pickup on Monday, May 25. Trash collection will be delayed by one day for the remainder of the week.

Please place bins at the curb on your adjusted pickup day. Thank you for your patience, and we wish everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend as we honor those who served our country.

Hi neighbors,

Don't forget! West Park Neighborhood Association will have a dinner meeting at 6 p.m. April 28 at American Legion Post 44, 1633 Cleveland Ave. NW.

Representatives of Canton Fire Department will give a presentation on fire safety and Canton's rules regarding open burning. That will be followed by a brief business meeting, at which we will elect officers. We will need to replace our vice president. Anthony Tsangeos will be unable to complete his term in 2026.

The menu will include favorites from Kennedy's BBQ. All residents of West Park are encouraged to attend.

Hi neighbors,

We'll be talking peanuts🥜🥜 -- a peanut-shaped traffic circle to be exact!

Canton Traffic Engineer Nick Loukas will host a public meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday April 9th at Canton Garden Center.

He will provide details and listen to comments about the proposed traffic circle (also called roundabouts) that will change the traffic flow at the intersection of Fulton Road, 25th Street and Harrison Avenue. For those of you that may not know, we shared a post from the canton rep regarding this. We hope for a sizable representation from the West Park Neighborhood.

Hi neighbors,

The regular West Park Neighborhood Association meeting scheduled for tomorrow (3/24) has been cancelled because the American Legion is doing work on the room where we meet.

Our next meeting will be the dinner meeting at 6 p.m. April 28. Details will be on a flyer being mailed to all neighborhood homes. We apologize for the short notice on this cancellation.

West Park Neighborhood Association will have a regular meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday (3/24) at American Legion Post 44, 1633 Cleveland Ave. NW.

Among the topics will be our mailed request for donations ($$) from you and your neighbors, our April dinner meeting agenda, the April public meeting on the proposed "peanut-shaped" traffic circle in the 25th St. & Fulton Rd. area and leadership for West Park's 2026-2027 programming year.
