The Historic Masonic Temple A unique building Located In Canton, Ohio The Historic Masonic Temple is now open to all for Weddings, Fundraisers, Performances and Special Events.

Located in Canton, Ohio, at 836 Market Ave N, the building serves as a home to various Masonic organizations including the Scottish Rite valley of canton. The beautifully re-imagined ballroom boasts balconies, cafe lighting and seating for 500. Several other meeting rooms and performance venues are available to tour.

Old picture of the cornerstone dedication of the Canton Masonic Temple on November 9, 1924. The original picture is bad , so trying to restore it while keeping facial images clear was difficult, but the picture cleaned up well enough to get a better idea of what the day would have looked like. There is a time capsule on the table and we have found drawings , indicating where it is. Unfortunately , the way it was installed , you have to do a lot of damage to the building to remove it.

This was an event that was done last year by the Aultman Hospital Women's Group. As you can see, the ballroom of the Canton Masonic Temple can be decorated quite nicely for whatever event you plan on having. Please consider the Canton Masonic Temple for your large event needs.

In case anybody wanted to know what the ballroom of the Canton Masonic Temple used to look like. With the number of stars on the flag , these pictures had to have been taken pre 1952. I found small photographs and had them restored. There will be more of the interior of the building in the future.

Brethren, please join William McKinley Lodge #431, Monday evening February 16, 2026 for our annual Lodge inspection. We will be confirming the Fellowcraft degree.
