Everyone is invited to join us for Summer Reading Kickoff on Friday, June 26 from 2 - 4:30 PM. In addition to signing up for this year's reading challenges, there will be lawn games, freeze pops, face painting, and fun for everyone as we celebrate the start of every librarian's favorite season--summer reading!! ☀️📚

Join us at the library on June 20th to help us plant a pollinator garden outside of our Junior Room entrance! We will be planting several different types of native plants and seeds in containers so that we can provide a place for our pollinators to rest and get the food they need while spreading pollen around to other plants!

No registration is required! This program is best for children ages 5 and up (children ages 5-9 will need a grown-ups help during the entire program). No experience is necessary, but please wear clothes that can get dirty and bring a pair of gardening gloves as we have limited supplies.

📚 Looking for the perfect books for your summer reading?? You won’t want to miss the 💐Spring Book Sale 💐 hosted by the Friends of the Canton Public Library.

📆 The members’ preview is Thursday, May 28, 5:30-7:30 pm, memberships will be available for purchase if needed. The public sale begins on Friday, May 29, from 10 am-5:30 pm, and continues on Saturday, May 30, from 10 am–2 pm. A bag sale will be held in the final hour on Saturday from 1-2 pm.

💵 Payment by cash or Venmo accepted. All proceeds of the Book Sale directly benefit the Canton Public Library.

Thank you all for your patience while we have been working through issues related to the OCLN Software Migration! Many of the issues have been fixed over the past few weeks, but there are still a few things that are being worked on. Additionally, we know that some of you may have questions about how to use the new catalog.

The CPL staff has compiled a list of frequently asked questions on our website. Our hope is that this will help everyone get comfortable using the catalog and will answer any log-in related questions. Thank you again for your patience!
