Dear Lincoln School Family,

We are excited to share that Miles of Smiles will be hosting an in-house dental clinic at Lincoln School on November 5th. Miles of Smiles is a school-based dental program that helps make dental care more accessible for students. This free dental exam does count towards the required Kindergarten and 2nd grade students. Their team provides preventive dental services right here at school, helping families access important oral health care without students needing to miss a full day of school for an outside appointment.

We have sent Miles of Smiles sign up forms home with all students and all completed forms need to be submitted by the end of the day Friday, September 4th. If you need an additional form, please contact the main office.

We are happy to be able to offer this service to our students and families!

Today was our first day of Walking Club and we had a great crowd running and walking the track. Please remind your students that attending Walking Club is a privilege and they must follow the STAR expectations to participate. Students have been working on Spatial Awareness and Cooperation this week in P.E. Today, students participated in an activity called Head, Shoulders, Knees and Cone. This activity builds quick reflexes, active listening, and whole-body coordination in a fun, active format. Students would switch partners often to play against other friends.

It was an exciting day at Lincoln School! We received new Chromebooks for all 2nd-4th grade students! These 3 amazing 4th graders gathered all of our old Chromebooks from the classrooms for the tech department, so we wanted to give them a shout out for helping out the Lincoln School Family!
