Summer is here and we’re inviting everyone to beat the heat at one of our four spray parks throughout the city. These free, family-friendly spaces are open daily from noon to 8 p.m. from Memorial Day through Labor Day. ☀️

The Garaux Park, Harmont Park, and Weis Park spray parks open today and are ready for visitors. The Crenshaw Park spray park is in the final stages of maintenance and repairs and will be fully open very soon.

Serve up some summer fun at Weis Park with our Youth Tennis Program! ☀️ Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or looking to sharpen their skills, this program provides a fun, supportive environment to learn the fundamentals of tennis and build confidence on the court.

Each 45 minute lesson features personalized instruction with one instructor for every one to two players, helping young athletes get the most out of every session. Racquets and balls are provided.

Good morning, Anglers! Our Annual Youth Catfish Derby is tomorrow, May 16, at Westbrook Park Pond!

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., fishing starts at 8:00 a.m., and the event concludes at 11:00 a.m.

Please bring your own fishing rods if you have them. A limited number will be available on a first come, first serve basis. A grilled hot dog lunch will be provided by our friends at the Canton Police Department.

Parking is available at Westbrook Park United Methodist Church, 2521 12th St NW, with a limited number of accessible spots at the park.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another incredible Sweat Now, Wine Later Adventure Race! From the creek to the trails to the finish line celebration at Gervasi, it was a great day spent in our parks and throughout our city.
