Habitat homeowners help build their own homes alongside volunteers and purchase the homes with an affordable zero interest mortgage. T

Cierra recently closed on her Preserve a Home project, an important milestone that means her family can thrive in their new home. It’s an exciting step, and we’re grateful to see her family entering this new season with stability and confidence.

We’re also celebrating her son, Ja’Cier, who was recognized as Student of the Month at the end of the school year. His school honored him in a big way, including a yard sign—now proudly displayed in front of their new home.

At Habitat, we know that safe, affordable homeownership helps children succeed in school and in every area of life.

We’re still smiling from Sunday’s Worship Gathering at the Southeast Community Playground.

In the heart of historic Southeast Canton, 15 churches came together for worship—and we welcomed approximately 500 neighbors and partners with open hands and open hearts. From worship and prayer to coffee and conversations, it was a powerful reminder of what’s already true here: this neighborhood is strong—and when people come together, it rises. This community deserves this and more.
