Thank you to the Youth Service Squad for organizing school supply drives this month, and thank you to our generous community for contributing! Together, 663 packs of school supplies were collected, resulting in 20 fully stocked backpacks for elementary school students and 20 for high school students, with plenty of supplies left over to support even more kids in need. Thank you for helping give students a great start to the school year!

The B.L.O.C.K.’s Teen Night Out is back this fall and winter! Join us Friday nights beginning September 11 for an evening designed just for teens from 6:30–9:30 p.m. Fees vary based on the activity or event and include pizza and pop. Last call to donate to Canton’s Youth Service Squad’s Back-to-School Supplies Drive! Donations of new supplies in their original packaging are being accepted through August 20 in the donation box on the third floor of the Canton Administration Building, located at 1150 S. Canton Center Road.

Canton’s Youth Service Squad is collecting back to school supplies to help local students in need. To contribute to this great cause, community members can drop off school supplies or monetary donations at the Canton Farmers Market on August 2 (9 a.m.–1 p.m.) or at Thursday Night LIVE in Heritage Park on August 6 (6:30–8:30 p.m.). Donations are also accepted beginning July 30 through August 20 in the donation box on the third floor of the Canton Administration Building. See requested supplies in the comments.
