Congratulations to Canton Preparatory High School alum, Krupa Patel, Class of 2018 on being named Graduate Student of the Year at the Michigan Difference Student Leadership Awards!

Currently a 3rd year Medical Student at the University of Michigan, Krupa was selected from graduate students across all programs for her exceptional dedication to academic excellence, leadership, and service.

Krupa’s impact reaches far beyond the classroom. She has:
• Developed an undergraduate mentorship pipeline for orthopedic surgery
• Served as National Medical Student President of the Ruth Jackson Orthopedic Society
• Coached Special Olympics volleyball
• Founded Medicine in Motion, promoting wellness and combating burnout through fitness
