Our Canton Preparatory High School juniors and seniors spent an exciting day exploring the vibrant campus of Wayne State University. From touring the state-of-the-art academic facilities to learning about diverse degree programs and student life, our upperclassmen got a firsthand look at what their future could hold in the heart of Detroit.

Visiting a college campus is a pivotal step in the college preparation process, helping our students visualize their next academic chapters and understand the admissions pathways available to them.

Mrs. Picard’s AP Environmental Science students kicked off Unit 2 with a hands-on lesson exploring what determines the biodiversity of an ecosystem.

Students sampled two different “communities” and calculated the relative abundance of each species they found. A great way to take environmental science beyond the classroom and put their learning into practice! 🔬🌎
