The City of Canton will begin a project August 27th that will require flushing between 12 and 36 fire hydrants. The project will begin Thursday morning at 8am, starting on the west side of town and finishing on the east side.
This work can stir up sediment in the water lines for a short time. It can also temporarily cause low water pressure at your property. Before washing laundry, please check the color of your water to avoid problems. If your water is discolored, run the COLD-water tap (garden hose spicket or bathtub) for 10–30 minutes and it should clear up.
