September's calendar is here! The library may be closed for now, but that can't stop us from connecting with our community! Come join us for some fun events in September!

Beginning August 31, while the library is closed, we are partnering with Redeemer Baptist Church to offer a safe space for kids to go to after school if they need to wait for a ride, or to wait between the end of the school day and a school event.

Interested parents/caregivers must fill out a form at www.rbccanton/afterschool. The form also includes all policies.

The church is directly across from the school at 307 Madison St. (Former daycare) and will be staffed by Library staff and church volunteers. Hours are Monday - Friday after school to 5:30 PM, and do not include early release or no-school days.

No specific activities are planned , but there will be games, LEGOs, STEAM-to-Go! Kits, and other self-guided activities. Also it's a great time to work on homework!

In cooperation with the Canton Public Library, Redeemer Baptist Church is offering a supervised location for students to wait after school for parents or to wait for clubs and activities during the library renovation. Who knew an empty library could be this much fun?

And we WILL be open next week for printing, copying, faxing, newspaper reading, tech help, preparing walls for painting, and wheelies.

Thanks, Dr. Alissa Burger and her Culver-Stockton College WSL class for helping us load up more library furniture and shelving pieces, shred paper, and clean windows! It was another great EDM Day!
