Welcome to Wildcat Country! 🐾

Canton South High School is pleased to introduce Don Stoll as the new head cheer coach for the Wildcats.

Stoll brings more than two decades of cheerleading experience to the program and will begin his 24th year as a coach this season. A retired elementary educator, he spent 38 years in the classroom helping students learn and grow.

His cheerleading journey began at Ashland University and has since included leading multiple successful programs throughout Ohio. During his coaching career, Stoll has guided four different programs to a combined 10 state championship appearances. In March 2023, he led Dalton High School to a state title at the OASSA State Cheer Championships.

Coach Stoll is excited to build upon the tradition of Canton South Cheerleading!

Check those backpacks for this flyer that was sent home today with the kids! Registration for the 2026 season is officially open! Visit our website at csyouthfootball.org to register now! Also, we will be offering 3 summer camp dates for incoming first through sixth graders. The summer camp will be ran by Coach Bardawil and the rest of the high school staff and players. All camp dates are FREE and require no online registration. Just show up at the stadium on those dates! We are looking forward to having another great season! GO CATS!!!!!

☀️ SUN Meals and SUN Bucks/Summer EBT Are Back for Summer 2026

Families in Canton Local Schools can potentially use two summer food resources to help kids stay nourished while school is out.

🍎 SUN Meals
Children ages 1–18 can receive free meals at participating SUN Meals locations across Ohio.

To find summer meal locations, visit the USDA Summer Meals Site Finder or call 1-866-348-6479.

💳 SUN Bucks / Summer EBT
Eligible children may receive a one-time $120 grocery benefit for summer 2026.

Many eligible children will receive benefits automatically if they participate in SNAP, Ohio Works First, qualifying Medicaid, or are approved for free or reduced-price school meals through an application.

Benefits may be added to an existing Ohio Direction Card or sent by mail on a Summer EBT card.

Families can learn more, check eligibility, apply if needed, or check benefit status at SEBT.ohio.gov.

For EBT questions, contact the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services Hotline at 1-866-244-0071.
