Canutillo Community: I am so sorry it has taken me almost a week to post on here about the election results! I am so honored to have received each individual vote and earn a seat as a trustee on the board! I am ready to serve you and be your voice! It has been a whirlwind, but I know that we will unite as a district to continue to succeed and grow! God bless!

Long post alert: There are many accusations being thrown around right now about my involvement with this no
bond campaign. It is no secret that I am against this bond due to the astronomical amount it will cost our community and the incredible debt that we will carry for a long time (into our children’s taxes in the future)! HOWEVER, these accusations of my school board campaign (also includes 3 other candidates who are against the bond and 2 community members) doing unethical/ illegal things to campaign against the bond is completely inaccurate and shows the unethical practices of the people falsely accusing me of such things. I am an honest person, and I will fight to make the facts known! I cannot control the actions of the community that is against the bond. There is a reason for it, and the district just wants to ignore those facts and place blame on someone, anyone they can! As a woman who is a wife, mother of two young kiddos, works full-time, volunteers at my church, and is campaigning for school board, I do not have the time, money, or desire to put effort into fighting against this bond in the ways these accusations state. I will make my voice heard in regards to the concerns of the community, but these accusations have no validity and I will not be accused of something that I am not doing. The complaints filed with the Texas Ethics Commission allege that three school board candidates are distributing fliers and signs opposing the Nov. 8 bond election that violate the Texas Election Code.

Tomorrow is National Voter Regiatration day! If you aren’t registered to vote, you only have until October 11th to do so! Peter Piper Pizza is hosting a voters registration day tomorrow at certain locations from 11-1! Get out and register asap and make a difference in your community! ❤️
