Registering early helps us plan for classes, staffing, and ensures your child is ready for a smooth start in August. You must be fully registered for the school year to be placed in a class for Meet the Teacher (August 20, 2026).

Special shout out to Mrs. Huinker’s 3rd grade class for helping Canyon Lake Animal Shelter dogs put their best paw forward!

Our Hawks partnered with the Canyon Lake Animal Shelter by writing adoption bios and drawing pictures for adoptable pets to help them stand out and get noticed. The students did an amazing job capturing each animal’s personality and helping make them feel extra special.

We are so proud of Mrs. Huinker’s class for using their creativity and kindness to help animals in our community find loving homes. Thank you to the Canyon Lake Animal Shelter for sharing this special project with our students! 💛🐾

Our kindergarten students showed the highest reading growth in Comal ISD from the beginning of the year to the end of the year, and we could not be more proud!

This incredible accomplishment is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, and love our Kindergarten teachers pour into their students each and every day. Their commitment to helping our littlest Hawks grow as readers has truly paid off!

Last week, Mrs. Patrick had the honor of attending the Teacher of the Year Banquet alongside Mr. Herzog and his son to celebrate this well deserved recognition. 🎉

Mr. Herzog’s dedication to students, leadership on our campus, and passion for teaching make a lasting impact on our Hawks each and every day. We are incredibly proud to have him represent our campus as the 2025–2026 Campus Teacher of the Year!
