PUBLIC ADVISORY: The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for our area. This storm may include: large hail, and strong, potentially destructive winds.

WT ALERT:DESTRUCTIVE Severe Thunderstorm Warning

BUFF ALERT: The National Weather Service in Amarillo has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for our area. This storm has been reported as DESTRUCTIVE.

This storm includes baseball-size hail or larger and/or wind gusts exceeding 80 miles per hour.

THESE CONDITIONS POSE A SIGNIFICANT THREAT TO LIFE AND PROPERTY.

Take immediate precautions: Move into a sturdy, site-built structure, stay away from windows and glass doors, remain alert and monitor updates from trusted weather sources.

This type of warning carries the same urgency as a Tornado Warning. Treat it seriously and act quickly!
