The Canyon City Commission is scheduled to have three meetings in the month of August pertaining to the 2026-2027 budget and tax rate.

- Tuesday, August 4th: Budget work session from 4:00 - 4:30 pm, then tax rate proposal during the regular meeting.
- Monday, August 10th: Budget Public Hearing
- Tuesday, August 18th: Tax Rate Public Hearing
