Canyonville Community Library We serve residents in Canyonville, Azalea, Cow Creek, Days Creek, Milo, & unincorporated areas between Canyonville and Tiller.

In August of 2017 the Canyonville City Friends of the Library (FOL) opened as a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation and began raising money to keep the doors open, the lights on, grow our collections, and offer an array of services to the surrounding area. Because of the generous support of individuals, local businesses, foundations, and a dedicated team of volunteers, we are able to serve the resident

Keeping the pioneer spirit alive for Pioneer Days, this week's movie night pick is an Emmy-winning documentary classic! 🐎🌄

We are guided by a deep belief that literacy changes lives. We are committed to inclusion, ensuring every member of our community feels welcome and valued. As an independent library, we are proud to be locally driven and community-focused, dedicated to providing the programs, resources, and connections that inform, inspire, and empower the people we serve.

These graphic novels are PERFECT for kids who feel intimidated by "chapter books. 💪🏼 The fast-paced action, hilarious illustrations, and comic-book style panels make reading feel way less like a chore and way more like fun. Meet our Guessing Jar Contest winner! All summer, kids have been earning guesses, and this young man nailed it, landing just 4 guesses away from the exact number! 😲 That kind of precision deserves a round of applause. 👏

Look at that smile; he's already got his prize in hand, a brand-new popcorn maker (and a popcorn bucket to match)! 🍿 Movie night just got a whole lot better at his house.

📚✨ Our Comic Klub artists have officially become authors! 🎨

This summer, they dove into graphic storytelling, reading comics, talking heroes and villains, and learning to create their own stories panel by panel. And now their hard work is complete: each child's comic creation has been compiled into their very own take-home book, complete with custom front and back covers, so they'll always have their summer masterpiece to look back on! Every kid also went home with a blank comic book of their own, so the creating doesn't have to stop here. 💥

This group has been an absolute joy! Creative, funny, and full of ideas all summer long!

🙌 A huge thank you to Carrie L. for overseeing the program and putting together every child's work into a keepsake book for them to treasure. 🦸🏼‍♀️
