Capay Organic Capay Organic is a second generation organic farm which got its start in the Capay Valley, 90 miles northeast of San Francisco.

The farm was founded by Kathleen Barsotti and Martin Barnes, in 1976 - marking the early stages of the organic foods movement.

🍅✨ Summer nights, fresh tomatoes, live music, and unforgettable memories — the 20th Annual Capay Tomato Festival is almost here!

Join us on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 5PM to 11PM at Capay Organic Farm, 23808 State Hwy 16, Capay, as we celebrate two decades of bringing together local agriculture, food, family, and community.

Experience the flavors that make Capay special with our famous tomato tastings, where you can sample fresh heirloom varieties and discover why locally grown tomatoes are worth celebrating. Stroll through the festival grounds while enjoying live music, grab a bite from local food trucks, and relax with a glass of local beer or wine as the sun sets over the farm.

Bringing the whole family? We've got plenty of kids activities to keep the little ones entertained, and for those who want to fully embrace the farm experience, camping will also be available.

For 20 years, the Capay Tomato Festival has been more than just an event — it's a celebration of local farms, good food, community connections, and the simple joy of gathering together during the summer harvest season.
