ABOUT US:
Community Partners for Successful Reentry (COMPOSURE) is a local team comprised of reentry stakeholders within Cape Girardeau, Perry, and Bollinger counties within Southeast Missouri, such as; community members, social service providers, state and federal workers, and not for profit agencies.
PURPOSE:
Ensure the successful reintegration of justice involved individuals into society.
MISSION:
Increase knowledge and awareness through a system wide collaborative approach, by providing community resource information to improve the justice involved's transition and stabilization in the community.
HISTORY:
Around 2008, several community agencies providing services to justice involved began meeting regularly to coordinate reentry efforts. Since 2013, the group has regular participation from a core group of agencies and organizations, and has began annual fundraising efforts, focusing resolutions to local reentry barriers.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
Providing community resource connections to justice involved individuals to stabilize: health and wellness, transportation, education, employment, social and family support, residency, and more.
Increase awareness of the public, business owners, employers surrounding the reintegration needs of justice involved.
