The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Foundation is a funding source for our city to make Cape Girardeau a wonderful place to play, learn and explore. Our parks and facilities are a peaceful retreat from the pace and pressures of everyday life, they bring us family picnics, afternoon ball games, long walks, historical and wildlife beauty waiting to be discovered. To ensure our parks are enjoyed

for years to come, we need your help. The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Foundation is a not-for-profit 501c3 organization dedicated to preserving, growing and enhancing our city's parks and recreational amenities. Donations can be made for specific parks or amenities within parks. Related programs that we offer are provided below. From walkers, bikers and runners, join the Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Foundation for National Movement Day on the Cape LaCroix Trail! There will also be a themed scavenger hunt for kids!

Food & drinks available (limited). 1 mile fun run/bike, 5K or scavenger hunt.
