🚧 You may have noticed some construction projects going on across our campuses! We are very excited to have a number of improvements planned to start this summer!

Some of our bond projects include a new drop-off and pick-up lane for our middle school, tennis court and track resurfacing at the high school, and updates to the junior high auditorium.

The grant-funded Ascent High Recovery Program building project has officially broken ground, too!

Josh Crowell, Assistant Superintendent of Support Services, gives us a break down of summer projects…even on his last day of work before retirement! He has spent nearly 30 years as an educator here at CGPS.

Thank you for all that you have done for our school community over the years, Mr. Crowell! We wish you nothing but the best.🧡🐅 🖤

Central Office will remain closed to the public on Thursday, June 11th.

As you can see from the pictures, we are still cleaning up our reception area after heavy rains moved through Cape on Monday, and water leaked into our front office.

We hope to reopen on Friday and will keep you updated.

We are still working to clean up the reception area at Central Office (301 N. Clark) after the heavy rains on Monday evening. Central Office will be closed to the public again on Wednesday, June 10th. We will continue to keep you updated. Have a great evening!

We hope everyone is safe after the heavy rain moved through the area.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Central Office located at 301 North Clark will be closed to the public tomorrow (June 9) as we clean up our office. Our staff will be here working, but we won't be able to have people coming and going while we work to get things back in order.

All of our summer school locations will be open and ready for students.
