A huge thank you to the Cape May County Chamber, all of our supporters, and our generous donors for celebrating with us. We had such a wonderful time last Sunday marking this special moment together.

We’re especially grateful to everyone who helped us celebrate our new doors, new bricks, and this exciting 2026 season ahead. Your support and energy mean everything to us and make Cape May Stage so special.

Rehearsals have officially begun for our 2026 season opener What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schreck, directed by Roy Steinberg, running June 3–June 28 at the Robert Shackleton Playhouse.

Presented in recognition of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, this Tony-nominated, Obie Award-winning play is powerful, personal, and more urgent than ever—blending humor, history, and storytelling to explore how the Constitution shapes lives across generations.

Starring Amanda Baxter as Heidi Schreck, Ronald Bagden as the Legionnaire, and Willow Ruiz as the Debater, the production brings together a dynamic mix of seasoned artistry and emerging talent.

We can’t wait to share this important and timely piece with our community—opening night is just around the corner!
