🇺🇸 This Veterans Day, the officers and members of the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department salute the brave men and women who have served our country in the armed forces. We honor the courage, sacrifice, and commitment that each veteran brings to our communities, both at home and abroad.

Today, we gathered to honor the legacy of Robert E. McClelland Sr. and other dedicated members who selflessly served their communities. During the Founders Circle Tribute and Fallen Firefighter Memorial Service, we remembered and celebrated their commitment and unwavering dedication to protecting others. Their sacrifices will never be forgotten, and their spirit lives on in all of us who continue this mission.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Capitol Heights Volunteer Fire Department Fire Prevention Open House yesterday! We had a great day welcoming the community into our firehouse and sharing important information and activities to keep them safe. We all had a lot of fun too! 🚒
