We ignite our community to give, advocate and volunteer so that our youth succeed in school and life, our residents are healthy and our families are financially independent. 🌟 About United Way of Santa Cruz County 🌟
At United Way of Santa Cruz County, our mission is to mobilize the caring power of our community to improve the lives of every youth, adult, and family. Since 1941, we’ve been working
side by side with local partners, donors, and volunteers to address our county’s most pressing needs.
✨ United4Youth
We believe in the power of young people to lead change. Through countywide initiatives like Jóvenes Sanos, Youth Action Network, and YPAR (Youth Participatory Action Research), we support youth mental health, leadership development, civic engagement, and college and career readiness. Together, these programs elevate youth voices and create a healthier, more connected future for our next generation.
✨ United4Community
We ensure local families have access to the resources they need to stay healthy and financially stable. Our services include 211 Santa Cruz County (a 24/7 information and referral line), free tax preparation for low-income families, and the Closed Loop Referral Network that connects residents to food, housing, healthcare, and other vital supports.
💙 With your support, United Way is building a stronger, healthier, and more equitable Santa Cruz County—where every youth can succeed and every family can thrive.
