The Village Hall will be sealcoating the parking lot on May 28th. There is a drop off box on the front West side of the building or you can drop off payments inside the Village Hall. Sorry for any inconveniences.

The Village of Capron has approved a one day Solicitors permit for Surf Internet. This permit is good for today May 15th 2026 till 7pm. If there are any questions please call the Village Hall at 815-569-2351.

The Village of Capron has approved a one day solicitors permit for Eco Shield. This permit is good for May16th 2026. The solicitors permit is good from 10am till 7pm. If there are any questions please call the Village Hall at 815-569-2351.

The main on S. Wooster was hit but the crew that is digging for Frontier Fiber. Test Inc. is on site and actively working on getting the break repaired. Once there is more information I will update this post.

The Village is aware that homes on the West side of town are experiencing loss of water. We are actively working on figuring out the issue. I will be updating this post once we have more information.
