Have you ever tried geocaching? It’s like a real-life treasure hunt using GPS! 🌍 You search for hidden “caches” placed all over the world—sometimes they’re tiny logbooks, little treasures, or even fun surprises.

👉 Little Free Library #91095 in Capron, VA is officially a geocaching site!
That means when you stop by, you can:
• 🔎 Hunt for the geocache and log your visit so we know you found it!
• 📖 Enjoy picking out a free book to take home
• 📚 Or leave a book for the next reader

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while on this page. I truly hope you’ve all been enjoying plenty of reading lately and taking advantage of the amazing benefits of having several Little Free Libraries in our community. 💛📚

As a reminder, these libraries rely heavily on the generosity of our neighbors. We’re always in need of:
✨ Like-new, bestselling books – these get picked up quickly and keep readers excited to come back!
✨ Monetary donations – every dollar helps us purchase new and diverse books for all ages and shared amongst the little free libraries in our community.

Your support keeps these libraries fresh, fun, and meaningful for the whole community. Together, we can make sure there’s always something special waiting on the shelves! 🌟

It’s been a while since I have posted. I apologize.

I have added new books into the Little Free Library in Capron for anyone who wants to snag a last minute books before the storm.

If you have any best seller new type ADULT books that you would like to donate, we are running low on those. We have plenty of children’s books. Please understand some older books just sit and are never read so that’s why I ask for newer type books.

Update: Several of you asked if you can do this online. You are welcome to send me a message and i will respond there. I am happy to have you order, the stock is rotating so it may take several days to get a particular book in stock but please order away.

Please stop in to Books to be Red while visiting Ocracoke. Check out our table of Appalachian authors and books set in the western part of NC. Books will change depending in what I have available and what you suggest. For each of the pink tagged book, I will donate $9 to Mountain Mule Packer Ranch. They are doing a fabulous job with the Cajun Navy of getting to some of the remotest areas of NC
