Due to the high AQI this morning already, the pool is delaying opening.

We will reopen after that AQI has dropped to 110 or lower for at least 30 minutes.

If at 11:30am we have still been closed, we will close for the remainder of the day.

Due to poor air quality levels, the pool is closing for the remainder of the night.

Join us for one of Carbondale's favorite traditions—the 47th Annual Fourth of July Kids' Parade on Friday, July 4, beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Main Street. Kids of all ages are invited to decorate their bikes, scooters, wagons, skateboards, or strollers, dress in costume, play an instrument, or simply march along in this fun, family-friendly parade. Parade staging begins between 10:00 and 10:15 a.m. at the corner of 2nd and Main Street.

After the parade, cool off at the Family Pool Party at the new Carbondale Aquatics Center. Bring the whole family and celebrate Independence Day with a morning full of community fun. Visit the Town's website for event details and pool information.

The new Carbondale Aquatics Center opens May 23, and we can’t wait to welcome the community back for a full season of fun.

From swim lessons and Sopris Barracuda Swim Team to paddleboard yoga, water aerobics, community events, and more, there will be plenty of ways to enjoy the water all summer long.

Get ready for the Aquatics Center to open this summer!

Carbondale Recreation Center will be closed on Monday, January 19 until 12 pm. The Town of Carbondale, CO will be installing EV charging stations in the North parking lot. The closure is due to electrical work associated with the installation.

El Centro Recreativo de Carbondale estará cerrado el lunes 19 de enero hasta las 12 pm. El Pueblo de Carbondale estará instalando estaciones de carga para vehículos eléctricos (EV) en el estacionamiento norte. El cierre se debe a trabajos eléctricos asociados con la instalación.
