You donāt have to be a librarian.
You donāt have to attend every meeting.
And you definitely donāt have to read every book on the shelves. š
You just have to believe that having a great library makes for a stronger community.
The Friends of the Carbondale City Library is a group of people who help support, encourage, and advocate for our local library. Friends can help with special projects, programs, fundraising, events, and those little extras that help make our library such a special place for kids, families, seniors, readers, learnersāand our entire community. ā¤ļø
And hereās the important part: many hands make light work. You can be involved as muchāor as littleāas your schedule allows. Sometimes the biggest help is simply showing up, sharing an idea, volunteering for one event, or lending a hand when you can.
Our little library belongs to all of us, and it deserves a whole bunch of Friends. š„°
