Beginning this Saturday, August 26th at the The 3rd Annual Walk for Recovery presented by The Southern Illinois Recovery Network in Marion, Illinois, there's a full calendar of events in Southeastern Illinois for Recovery Month! We're so excited to host or participate in all of these wonderful opportunities to celebrate our growing recovery community. It's a beautiful time to be in recovery. 💜

The Egyptian Health Department Drug Overdose Prevention Program is excited to announce our first Narcan Distribution Dispenser in partnership with Saline County State’s Attorney Office & Detention Center.

This dispenser is a completely FREE resource for any and all to utilize and is available 24/7, 365. No questions asked.

Narcan is an easy-to-use overdose reversal medication that reverses an overdose in minutes. Instructions to administer are included in each box of nasal spray. You can save a life in a matter of moments.

Overdose does not discriminate—whether it is a prescribed medication or illegal substance, Narcan can save lives.

The Narcan dispenser is located in the lobby of the Saline County Detention Center and is a central location, open 24 hours a day.
