As we head into RSV season, here’s your gentle reminder — it’s okay to protect your baby’s space. 💛

You’re not “overreacting.” You’re not “rude.” You’re a parent doing what’s best for your little one.

Those early days are fragile — tiny lungs, developing immune systems, and so much love packed into someone so small.

You have every right to say please don’t kiss the baby, please wash your hands, or please give us some space right now.

Boundaries don’t make you difficult — they make you a good parent.

So here’s to the mamas and dads keeping their babies safe this season — may everyone respect your “no’s,” your instincts, and your love that protects without apology. 🤍

Car Seat Event - Friday, September 26, 2025, at Carbondale Fire Station #2 (401 North Glenview Drive)

Certified car seat safety technicians from the Carbondale police and fire departments will provide an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about child passenger safety and have their car seats checked for proper use and installation. If possible, bring the child who will be riding in the car seat, the vehicle owner's manual, and the car seat instruction manual. Please allow 30 minutes per car seat.
