This Saturday is our first Preschool Playday!

Bring your little swimmers ages 5 & under for a morning at the pool with free donuts, splash time, and fun made just for them.

Saturday, June 20
10 AM – 12 PM
Regular admission rates apply - No fee for season passholders

A big round of applause for some young problem-solvers. 👏

Unity Point students Will Presley and Everett Pangrazio both earned bronze medals in SIU Carbondale’s American Mathematics Olympiad, an international competition that challenges students to think critically and tackle advanced math problems.

They were among 52 Unity Point students in grades 4-8 who received bronze, silver, or gold medals, with 31 more earning honorable mention certificates.

Math like this isn’t easy, and that’s what makes this recognition so impressive.

Congratulations to Will, Everett, and all of the students recognized through this year’s competition!

Today, we want to honor and celebrate a beautiful individual of our community. After two decades of incredible dedication, Mrs. Stephanie Garvey is retiring!

Mrs. Garvey has dedicated 20 years at Unity Point. She first spent a decade as a devoted parent volunteer, always stepping up to support the needs of our students and families. For the last ten years, she has been the welcoming face and voice of Unity Point as our receptionist and secretary.

If you’ve walked through our doors, you know exactly why she is so beloved. Mrs. Garvey is the definition of personable. She is always ready to lend a helping hand, and she has an ability to handle last-minute news, ensuring crucial communication gets out to students and staff no matter how tight the deadline.

To say she will be missed by our students, families, staff, and the entire community is an understatement.

We will deeply miss:

Her radiant smile that brightens the office every morning

Her massive heart for service

Her hard work and dedication

Her beautiful, warm presence

Thank you for everything you have done for Unity Point, Mrs. Garvey! We are so incredibly grateful for you. While you are retiring, we know this isn't a final goodbye, we look forward to seeing you when you come back to visit and support our beautiful community.
