Lost Child Wildlife Rehabilitation LCWR is a home based, DNR licensed, non profit dedicated to rescuing injured and displaced/orphaned wildlife. All are returned to the wild after rehab.

Rolly Poley came in late last night from a local rescue group. Shes doing very good, chunky and a great eater. She's a tiny little squirrel but is such a fighter. Thankfully she has no injuries and doesn't appear to have been away from mom for long, sadly a reunite wasn't in the card for her due to local from our understanding. She will do great thriving and growing with one of our team members.

We are needing help from the community and our supporters. We are unable to do this alone and supplies are running very low and cages are filling up again.

We currently have 13 raccoons outside between 3 team members as well as four tiny bottle baby raccoons, squirrels and a kitten inside needing help. It's been a crazy season so far for everyone and another wave is coming, we are trying to be ready when it does.

We have updated our Amazon wish list for anyone that would like to help. We are in the most need of the following:

❤dog and cat kibble
❤syringes of all sizes
❤gloves and medical supplies
❤blankets
❤kitten formula

These four all have different stories but are happy to have each other.

Timber our biggest baby was a solo with an amazing finder that did very well helping him until she was able to get him to us. Finder wanted nothing more than to have sweet Timber in with his own kind. Timber has his eyes open, loves to eat and is such an adorable boy.

Walnut was found by an amazing finder on the ground around branches after a storm. No mom in sight and unsuccessful with a reunite. He is such a cutie and should be opening his eyes this week.

Willow and Oak were found alone in their home crying for over 6 hours. They were lucky enough that the finder of Walnut found them too. Finder searched and hopped a mom would hear them and come back but she never did. Willow, Oak and Walnut allade their way to us together.

These 4 have a long way to go and will more than likely be over wintered. We have a wonderful supporter, finder of pancake and waffles, donating an outdoor enclosure where these four will be some day in the far future. Thank you to the finders and supporters that got not only these four but many others to a rehab for help. You are the first step to the wildlife having a fighting chance.

Pancake and Waffles came from a great finder that cared for them very well. They have received vaccines, love Cheerios, mini marshmallow, kibble, fruits and veggies. They are doing amazing in their outdoor enclosure with one of our subs in Monroe. These guys will have a great life and be released when they are ready.
