Mason Middle & High School hosted an Ability Awareness Day. Unified students went through skill building stations together - they also involved their school by inviting the choir to sing the National Anthem, and Yearbook Club to take photos of the event.

Unified Pair Aiden and Sam were selected to attend the Berlin World Games to be a part of the Global Youth Leadership Summit. We can’t wait to see how they use what they learn to spread inclusion here in Michigan! Congratulations Aiden and Sam!

Last month, we were able to honor an outstanding Unified Champion School liaison, Joan Robertson of Grand Blanc High School, at our Hall of Fame award ceremony. We know the impact she made will live on in Grand Blanc’s Unified program!

We were honored to Lieutenant Governor Garlin Gilchrist and Special Olympics leadership here to celebrate this huge accomplishment!
