Golf Cart Registration – Village of Carleton
Golf cart registration begins Tuesday, July 7, 2026!

🔵 Location: Carleton Police Department
🔵 Registration Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays
🔵 Time: 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM

📢Important Notices:📢
➡️All golf carts must be trailered to the Carleton Police Department for registration. Do not drive your golf cart to the registration site.
➡️Golf carts are not permitted on Village of Carleton roads without a valid Village registration sticker.
➡️There is no fee to register, however you must bring your valid driver's license and proof of liability insurance for golf cart. (Please contact our office for required amounts.)

Today marks Chief Roy Johnson’s final day with the Carleton Police Department, as he retires after 14 years of service.

Chief Johnson has led the department through years of change while maintaining a focus on public safety and community engagement. We thank him for his service and commitment to the Carleton community.

🦆🚓 Waddle we have here? 🚓🦆

Today, one of our officers had the pleasure of meeting some very special members of the community—therapy ducks! Sgt. Smedo spent some time getting to know these feathered friends, who bring comfort and smiles wherever they go.

We’re always grateful for the unique ways our community supports one another—and this visit definitely brightened our day!
