Per City Council meeting dated 8/13/2025, the Park Pavilion is NOT available for reservation. I apologize to anyone who has made any upcoming reservations. We cannot guarantee the availability of the Pavilion for an event. It is first come, first serve only. Thank you for your cooperation and sorry for any inconveniences.

The City of Carlin will start enforcing water restrictions on June 22, 2026. We all need to do our part during this time of drought. This notice will also be mailed out to all Carlin Post Office boxes. Thank you for your cooperation.

Clean up starts Sunday at 7am! We still need volunteers to help pick up loads (either driving your truck/trailer or using your muscles). Lunch will be provided daily for volunteers. Please reach out to Public Works if you want to volunteer or if you need help. We do ask that if you are capable, please help load/unload your items. Thank you!

Railroad St between 10th and 11th will be without water for a short time. We are replacing a leaking water valve in that area. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Good afternoon Carlin. We have been having vandalism issues at our park bathrooms. The two individuals in these pics might have seen something. Please speak up if you know anything. If this continues, we may be forced to close the bathrooms. Last Friday, our soap dispenser was broken and soap was all over and rolls of tp were stuffed in the toilets. This morning we found wet tp all over the walls (picture). If you know or see anything, please speak up: even if it is directly to the individuals responsible. Let them know this is not ok with our bathrooms! As a community, let's reach out and be heard. Parents - please talk to your children about respecting property and having the privilege of bathrooms with tp and soap to use. It takes a community to make a community. Thank you all for any help!
